About Us – Aiden's Lab
We’re founders, but first, we’re users.
Aiden's Lab started as a journey of exploration.
We saw that for kids to really learn spoken English, they need lots of output—and just as much quality input. But traditional one-on-one tutoring with a native speaker is too expensive, schedules are tight, class quality varies, kids often don’t match their classmates’ levels, and there’s a lot of idle waiting while others speak. The inefficiency adds up.
So we turned to AI.
At first, we used AI on phones. But the conversation flow wasn’t smooth, and staring at a screen for so long was hard on kids’ eyes. Then we tried various AI English-learning robots on the market. Most were disappointing—either the speech recognition was poor, or the robot’s answers were too short and boring.
That’s when we found the predecessor of our current robot. Our child loved it right away. He used it every day, and his spoken English improved dramatically—all at the cost of just one live tutoring session.
We wanted more families to benefit from such a great learning tool. So we tracked down the factory that made it, shared how much we loved the product and how we thought it could be even better, and eventually partnered with them to develop the next generation—prettier, smarter, and more powerful.
The new robot works with many different languages, so it’s easy for speakers of different native tongues to use. Its comprehension has improved so much that it can even understand when a child tells it a paradoxical riddle—and respond in a logical yet playful way. That kind of high-quality, fun interaction is what keeps kids coming back day after day.
This whole process of researching, experimenting, and improving has become a gift far greater than language learning itself. Little learner Aiden, who used the product every day and shared his feedback along the way, saw this new robot as a milestone in his learning journey.
That’s why we named it Aiden’s Lab.
To honor the spirit of exploration that grows alongside language skills—and to encourage every child to try new things, take risks, and build their own world with a true “Lab” mindset.
